Outdated labor laws have hampered our fundamental right to join together and negotiate for better wages, benefits and working conditions. That's why we need the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, which will empower America's workers and strengthen our democracy.
Veterans and working people are facing the same issues—a lack of good jobs, access to quality health care, and the need for racial and economic justice.
Local 194 is proud to invest in the future of our union family. The Charles Madsen Local 194 Memorial Scholarship is an important program which helps accomplish this goal.
It is very difficult to deal with the loss of a co-worker, particularly someone as sweet and gentle as Jonathan. I was blessed with the opportunity to work with him and, like many of his co-workers, will never forget the impact he made in my life. Please keep the Proctor family in your thoughts as they deal with this tragic loss.
