Violenece has no place in our political process. All people, regardless of background and political ideology, must condemn the cowardly act of political violence that occurred on Saturday at a Trump ally in Pennsylvania. 

I hope for a speedy recovery to former president Trump and the other victims of the shooting. My most sincere condolences to the family of the spectator who was senselessly murdered. 

The foundation of our democracy is a peaceful transfer of power. We make our choices by ballots, not bullets. 

Local 194 was proud to award 8 scholarships to the family members of our sisters and brothers at the June General Membership this Saturday, June 29, 2024.

The Charles Madsen Memorial Scholarships are an important part of what we do and Local 194 was proud to have Charlie's wife Carol, son Charles III and grandchildren Charles IV and Andrew in attendance.
